Calypso recommends 7 points per wave. What does that mean?

When setting up a scan, let's say a helical scan with 5 revolutions. If our filter parameters are set to 50upr then we can calculate the amount of points that are recommended for this scan.

7 x 50upr = 350 points
350 x 5 (revolutions) = 1750 points

It is recommended that you use 1750 points for this scan.

If you change the filter parameter to 500upr then:

7 x 500upr = 3500 points
3500 x 5 (revolutions) = 17500 points

This is an easy formula to arrive at just how many points I should use when applying scanning to a feature.
