T.I.L - Calypso PCM - LoadCADFile
Objective: The scenario is I've written a program that has several variations and I want to load the correct model for each of the variations.
We need to write the PCM presettings code that will the the correct model file. Here I've prompted the operator to enter the variation. In this case, the variation is defined by the HSK number, Anyone with a machine background will know what the HSK represents. The part is a runout bar
Var1=1st measurement position along the shaft of this runout bar
Var2=2nd measurement position along the shaft of this runout bar
Var3=3rd measurement position along the shaft of this runout bar
Var4=Diameter of runout bar shaft
Var5=HSK cone position from Base Alignment
All of these variable will vary depending on the type of part program you are writing. It is the next few lines we want to cover in this topic.
ClearCAD() This will remove the current CAD model from the graphics screen
LoadCADFile(path to model file) This will load the correct model file for the HSK number
